Want to be the next Tiger Woods?  

Then Grange School's Golf Club could be the start for you!
  Using clubs and equipment designed for children, we teach basic grip, stance and swing techniques. The vision is, that children will have developed an appetite for the beautiful game of golf;  hopefully sparking a future desire to further develop those basic skills. 


Golf club is run by Mr. Dunn.
The groups which comprise of beginners and intermediates, normally meet once a week; in the spring or summer terms. The first four to six weeks of the term are for beginners only. Theintermediate's group join the beginners for the remaining six weeks.
If you wish to help and are a keen golfer yourself contact Mr. Dunn or the school.
 
Recorders PDF Print

KS2 Recorder clubs are run by Mrs. Baker. 
The groups meet once a week to practice and to learn new songs. 
They are currently using "Sing, Clap and play the Recorder- book 1".

Playing the recorder is great fun and helps to stimulate musical ability in children. There may well be opportunities for these children to join to orchestra later on.

    The orchestra meet once a week to rehearse together. 
    They are led by Mrs. Baker.

Football PDF Print
Mr. Beech and Mrs. James run the school football club.
Training sessions are on a Monday after school and matches usually take place on Thursdays. 
The club is open to all children in year 5 and 6 and we have both a girls and a boys football team.
 
Computer Access Club PDF Print
  • Computer Access Club gives children to opportunity to develop the skills that they have learned in school and allows them to further their knowledge by researching a variety of topics.

  • Mrs Crampton runs the club, which is held on a Wednesday after school

    (3.15pm - 4pm).
